Anger Management Therapy in Affair Counselling



When an affair gets exposed, the cheated expresses rage, feelings of betrayal and hurt. The cheated attacks the spouse and has an extremely hard times. Quarrels and fights will prevail and even a simple communication becomes impossible to carry on. Then there will be helplessness, depression, stress and so on.
It is important that the anger has to be treated before making any decisions such as divorce or happiness. Only after the rage is treated, these decision makings can be possible as rage do not affect one’s own decision making process.
There are three steps in Anger management therapy. This has to be done by the cheated and does not need to be accompanied by the spouse.
1st step: Analysis in couple situation

- Problem finding, analyzing the cause of affair and rage, designing solution
2nd step: Anger management therapy
- Treatment or therapy designed as the prior step
- Understanding the principle of affair, analyzing the faults of the spouse and the client’s hurt in life
3rd step: Stabilization of the mind
- Controlling the mind
- Couple problem solution method, Affair problem solution and controlling hurts.
Overall, it takes approximately up to 6 months.
After rage is treated, it is possible to make judgements on the spouse and decisions can be made, a divorce or couples’ happiness. It is important to understand that the anger management therapy is the very first step, a first priority before anything in an affair problem solution. It provides bases for the following processes for becoming happy and solving affair problem.
